It’s that time of year again! The time of year where we good-naturedly set goals we break the next day, eat healthy foods for a week, and renew our memberships to gyms we never go to.
I do love a good reading challenge though, since they don’t involve kale or trying to figure out how that leg exerciser thingy works.
So why is it the “Ultimate” Reading Challenge?
Who knows. I don’t think there’s a board that vets these lists or anything, so I’m just gunna jump right in and deem mine the “ultimate.”
I made several different styles of list, so hopefully you can find a background that interests you!
Take the book prompts in any way that you like! A book your mother would hate could be a genre she doesn’t like, something scandalous she wouldn’t approve of, or a cover that specific shade of green that she despises.
I also made these 8.5×11 sized so you can pick the style you like, print it off at home, and stick it up on your bulletin board or closet door of choice.
Now get reading!

Now, do any books in particular spring to mind?

I particularly liked the book you would be embarrassed to see reading and book that was supposed to be a gift, but you kept it for yourself. This is the “ultimate” reading challenge.

Can I recommend “A Canticle for Liebowisk”? It is an awesome book, weird but awesome. Otherwise I think the “Canada” by Mike Myers sounds good, I heard them talking about it on the radio last week, he sounds like her is suprizingly serious about Canada in the book

Oh and Me, Earl and the Dying Girl can fit into terminally ill or bad movie for the list. Interesting to see things written in a very honest although untrustworthy teen voice. (watch out for serious swearing though!)

I haven’t heard of the first one, but Canada does sound pretty neat! It’s on my list! Thanks for the suggestions!

I often find myself in a rut with my reading. What a great idea to challenge ourselves with a reading list so we can expand our interests!

LOVE this challenge! Not like I need to add more books to my reading list, but this will definitely inspire me to. Can’t wait to see which books you pick for each prompt. So much fun!
